This is neat...but it needs more substance.

You've got something here. Make the full effort and turn this into something complete and not just a handful of mediocre games that have been taped together.

Not bad, but you could have something great if you tried harder.

anunfittingname responds:

I did make a big effort this is like the third game ive made so naturally its not gonna be amazing. Its a random handful of games because there simple games I was able to make. Keep watching for future stuff and ill be more original.

10 for Style

But it runs a little bit rough, okay, it runs a lot rough. Also, when you click on some of the background objects, they will disappear-- no idea why.
Otherwise, this is a pretty cool game. I expect this to see the frontpage very soon.

Digimaks responds:

I also wonder why 30 FPS runs 24 here.
(TRY GOING TO OPTIONS and TRURN ON FPS HACK) that might do a thing!

THE CLICKABLE objects were made for DEBUG purposes : ). I was clicking on objects and checking what happens to my framerate. I left it there just for the heck of it.
Also you may turn down graphics in OPTIONS.
THANKS alot for your feedback.

Very nice.

I can see that a lot of effort was put into this, very nice work. Only problems I see are the music being a little crunchy, and the sprites could have been the 16-bit ones instead of the GBC without too much trouble, it would have looked a lot better than way.

I wish I had time to play through the entire thing, I also with that I could play megaman worth half a shit on a keyboard. =) Nice job.

maelstormm responds:

Gotta work within Newgrounds limits. So sound crunching and 8bit sprites work best for that for a game of this size.
Use the link in the comments to look over the keyboard emulation thing on my dinky forum. You'll be able to use a gamepad instead of the keyboard ^_^

Look at the deaf kid try...

Look, this was nice, it really was. But when will people learn that Demos are never taken with a smile around here. You really just make people mad and waste NG's bandwidth. I'm gonna go back to wiping my ass with sandpaper now, because that's a lot more interesting than this was. I'm sure you can do something great with this, I do believe that. But this doesn't excite me at all.

Bofred responds:

oh man, it's always the same people who talk shit, and i can write one answer for all of you, you have no flash on newgrounds, and i think you even don't own flash, or ever tried to make a game with it,because if you did you would know how hard a flash game is to do.

Very Nice Work!

I'm very impressed. A thoroughly thought-out project that was executed quite nicely. Still needs a little polish though, some of the enemies you find in the stages are a little tough to kill, remember that most enemies in megaman required one or two or three shots to kill, not the 7to15 I found myself seemingly needing for every other enemy. Nonetheless, nice work. Keep at it, there's a lot of potential for greatness here

maelstormm responds:

I'm done with this baby unless some major bugs creep up. Towards the end it got quite tedious to keep working on it, but once I hit the final stretch I couldn't turn back. All enemies require at least 2 hits, which isn't hard to do with a 50% buster hit or a quick rapid fire, Look at the graphic when you're shot hits. If it's a solid circle then it caused damage, if its a fragments ring then it deflected and did nothing.

Very, very good.

I don't know why I like this so much. Maybe it's because it's so simple but on the same note it's smooth and done correctly in every aspect. Very good job on this, I don't think I saw a single thing wrong with it.

extraTURNIPSx responds:

I'm glad you like it.
Not bad for 10 minutes work, eh?

You've done it again, dude.

Hey =) Sorry I havent sent you my art to help you yet. I can't find anyone who'll scan my pics for me. So as soon as I get a scanner working for myself I'll hit ya back so we can work something in. Peace!

RobSuperSonic responds:

Yo JemaK.
NP, Contact me when ever you like.

Nice idea, Poorly done.

You have the concept down but, the music is supposed to fall in beat with the moves you're supposed to do. To be addicted to DDR enough to make these flash cartoons, I'm suprised you dont know that already.

jamus-se responds:

Actually, this game was sort of an experiment when I was in the middle of writing Dark Prophecy... Oh, the agony of disappointing a DDR fan... when I'm done with the project that I'm working on now, I'll promise that I'll get the BPM right...

Violence is not the answer. "Violence" is a question, and the answer is "Yes."
